Cleveland Auto Repair, a premier automotive repair facility located at 6211 Cedar Ave., Cleveland, OH 44103, is pleased to announce a new partnership with Baldwin Wallace University. This collaboration exemplifies BW’s commitment to fostering strong community ties and providing valuable resources to both its students and local businesses.
At the heart of this partnership is Anthony James Hodel, CEO of Hodel Holdings and a proud Baldwin Wallace alumnus. Hodel, a former student-athlete at BW, has been an advocate bridging the gap between higher education and practical, real-world applications. Reflecting on the partnership, he stated:
“BW’s initiative to be a leader in the educational sector is truly inspiring. Their support extends beyond the student—it nurtures the individual. As a former student-athlete, I am grateful for the encouragement BW provides to both students and local businesses. This partnership underscores the importance of collaboration in building a stronger community.”
About the BW Student Resource Center
This partnership aligns seamlessly with the mission of the Baldwin Wallace University Student Resource Center, which offers comprehensive 1:1 support, resources, and referrals to current BW students. The Center is dedicated to ensuring students have access to essential services that support their academic journey and personal well-being. By addressing food and housing insecurity, as well as promoting equitable resource accessibility, the Student Resource Center plays a vital role in student success.
The Center is housed within the David & Frances Brain Center for Community Engagement and works closely with departments across the BW campus to develop collaborative programs. Additionally, it is part of the Community Campus Coalition, a statewide coalition dedicated to promoting the civic purposes of higher education. Through a partnership with AmeriCorps Ohio, the Center extends its reach by connecting individuals and organizations to local and national initiatives aimed at tackling community challenges.
A Step Forward in Community Engagement
The collaboration between Cleveland Auto Repair and BW highlights the university’s dedication to fostering meaningful partnerships that enhance student experiences while strengthening ties with the greater Cleveland community. Students will benefit from ASE certified repairs, honest pricing and warranties on all repairs performed, all while supporting a business founded by a BW alumnus.
As Cleveland Auto Repair continues to prioritize community engagement and student success, this partnership serves as a testament to the commitment to making a lasting impact both on and off campus.
